DoodleDoo · Design & Create

Status: Roadmap

Design the business. Make it real.

DoodleDoo is designed as a visual business-process design layer: sketch how the work should happen, and let the platform propose the system that does it.

What it is
DoodleDoo is a future product. The concept: a business user draws a process — request, check, assessment, approval, notification — and DoodleDoo translates each step into the Doo product that should carry it out.
Who it is for
Executives, process owners and business analysts who know how the work should run and should not need to learn seven tools to say so.
Status
Roadmap. A future product. What is shown is a concept, not a release.

The problem

The people who understand the process are rarely the people who can build it.

  • A process drawn on a whiteboard is re-interpreted three times before it becomes software.

  • Each team builds its part in its own tool, and the whole is never seen in one place again.

  • By the time the system exists, the process it automates has changed.

Core capabilities

What DoodleDoo is designed to do.

DoodleDoo is not yet released. These are the capabilities it is being designed around.

  • Process sketching

Draw the steps, decisions and hand-offs of a business process.

  • FlowDoo workflow

Turn the sequence of steps into an executable workflow.

  • VizzDoo dashboard

Propose the dashboard that shows how the process is performing.

  • MLDoo requirement

Flag the steps where a prediction would help and describe the model needed.

  • AIDoo agent or task

Mark the steps an assistant could take or prepare for a person.

  • AppsDoo application

Assemble the forms and screens people use to take part in the process.

How it works

How it is intended to work.

  1. Step 1: Sketch the process

Draw it the way you would on a whiteboard: who asks, who checks, who decides.

  2. Step 2: Review the proposal

DoodleDoo is designed to suggest which Doo product should own each step, and why.

  3. Step 3: Refine with the builders

Hand the design to the people who will finish it — as a workflow, not a slide.

  4. Step 4: Keep design and system together

When the process changes, change the design and see what it touches.

Example workflow

What it looks like in practice.

A process as a business user would draw it — the starting point DoodleDoo is designed to work from.

  1. Customer Request
  2. Document Check
  3. Risk Assessment
  4. Approval
  5. Notification

    About AppsDoo

Security and governance

Governed like the rest of the platform.

Designed with enterprise security and governance requirements in mind. No certification is claimed that has not been obtained.

How DooHorizon approaches security
  • Designed so a generated system inherits the platform's identity, permissions and audit — never its own copy.
  • Designed to keep the link between a business design and the assets built from it.
  • Anything DoodleDoo proposes is intended to be reviewed by a person before it runs.

Use cases

What you can build with DoodleDoo.

  • From workshop to working system

Leave a process workshop with something executable rather than a photo of a whiteboard.

  • A shared picture of the business

Give leadership one view of how a process runs and which systems carry it.

  • Change with less risk

See what a process change touches before making it.
