Worth knowing

  • Coordinates are decimal degrees (WGS 84). Rows with a blank or out-of-range latitude or longitude get a blank distance and are counted.
  • Distances are as the crow flies over a spherical Earth (within about 0.5%), not road distances.
  • Have postcodes, not coordinates? Join a postcode table first; geocoding is waiting on Address Verify / Geocode.
