Settings
| Setting | Type | Required | Default or hint |
|---|---|---|---|
| Page Range | text | — | Leave empty for all pages, e.g. 1-5, 8, 10-12 |
Example
Convert a folder of contracts
- Page Range=1-3
| File Name | Full Path |
|---|---|
| contract_a.docx | contracts/contract_a.docx |
| contract_b.docx | contracts/contract_b.docx |
| File Name | PDF Status | PDF File Name | PDF Pages |
|---|---|---|---|
| contract_a.docx | Converted | contract_a.pdf | 3 |
| contract_b.docx | Converted | contract_b.pdf | 3 |
Each PDF keeps the source file's base name, and a PDF Output Path column points at the converted file.
Worth knowing
- The node needs a .docx path on the incoming rows, so put an Input Folder or Word File Input in front of it.
- Leave Page Range empty to convert every page; otherwise use a list such as 1-5, 8, 10-12.
- A row that is not a .docx file is passed through with PDF Status set to Skipped.
- The conversion lays out the document's text, so tables and images are not reproduced.
