Output
Salesforce Output
Inserts, updates, upserts or deletes Salesforce records, one per incoming row, and passes the rows on with the outcome of each: its Salesforce Id, Created/Updated/Deleted or Error, and the error message.
When to use it
Use it to load cleaned data into Salesforce — new leads from a spreadsheet, price changes from an ERP export, or a nightly sync keyed on an external ID — without the Data Loader.

Follow it with Filter Rows on Salesforce Result equals Error to export the rows Salesforce refused.
Worth knowing
- Columns go to the Salesforce field with the same name (ignoring case). Press Refresh on Fields to see the mapping and change it, or set a column to Don't send.
- Update and Delete find records by a column mapped to Id; Upsert matches on the field you choose — Id or any External ID field.
- Read-only, formula and system fields are refused before anything is sent, with their names.
- Blank cells leave a field as it is unless you choose Clear the field (update and upsert only).
- Records go in batches of 200. All or none rolls back a failed batch, not the batches already saved.
- A preview never writes to Salesforce: it checks the mapping and says what would happen.
- The connection is the same kind as Salesforce input's: the connected app's Run As user needs permission to create, edit or delete the object.
