Worth knowing
- Are decimal points and currency signs removed too? No. Only digits are removed. Use Remove Punctuation or Remove Special Characters to remove the leftover symbols.
- Can I keep the numbers and remove everything else? Yes. Use the Extract Numbers tool, which lists every number it finds.
- Are numbers written as words removed? No. Words like “three” are ordinary text and are kept.
- Works on any text column, not only Text Input's: pick it under Text column. Tick Generate New Column to keep the original next to the result.
