Worth knowing
- Is it safe to paste HTML from unknown sites? Yes. The code is treated as plain text and is never rendered or executed.
- Are links kept? The visible link text is kept, but the URL inside the href attribute is removed. To collect the URLs, use Extract URLs on the original HTML.
- What if I want to show HTML code as text on a web page? Use the HTML Encoder, which converts tags into entities instead of removing them.
- Works on any text column, not only Text Input's: pick it under Text column. Tick Generate New Column to keep the original next to the result.
