Worth knowing
- Are HTML tags removed? No. Entities are converted, but real tags stay. Use Remove HTML Tags to strip them.
- My text still shows & after decoding. Why? It was encoded twice. Run the decoder again.
- Are all named entities supported? The most common ones are, along with every numeric entity. Rare named entities are left as they are.
- Works on any text column, not only Text Input's: pick it under Text column. Tick Generate New Column to keep the original next to the result.
