Worth knowing
- Are email addresses case-sensitive? The domain part is not, and in practice most mail providers treat the whole address as case-insensitive, which is why lowercasing is a common clean-up step.
- Does it change numbers or symbols? No, only letters.
- Can I convert back to the original capitals? No. The original capitalisation is not stored, so keep a copy of your text if you may need it.
- Works on any text column, not only Text Input's: pick it under Text column. Tick Generate New Column to keep the original next to the result.
