Worth knowing
- Do I need spaces between bytes? Spaces are recommended. Without them, the input must be a multiple of eight digits long.
- Why do I get an invalid UTF-8 error? The bytes do not form valid text. A bit may be missing or the data may not be text at all.
- Can I use 7-bit groups? Yes. Groups shorter than eight bits are read as numbers, so 7-bit ASCII works when separated by spaces.
- Works on any text column, not only Text Input's: pick it under Text column. Tick Generate New Column to keep the original next to the result.
