Data Quality
Standardize
Rewrites one column in a standard form: phone numbers as +<country><number>, emails in lower case, names in Proper Case, or addresses with USPS abbreviations.
When to use it
Use it before matching, deduplicating or loading into a CRM, so "(555) 123-4567" and "555.123.4567" are recognisably the same number.

Extensions are dropped. "12345" cannot be a phone number, so it is left as it was and counted in the note.
Worth knowing
- Phone: numbers starting with + or 00 keep their own country code; others get the Default region's code, with a leading 0 trunk prefix removed where the region uses one (020 → +4420…).
- Name: "o'brien-mcdonald" becomes "O'Brien-McDonald". Address: "123 main street north, springfield, il" becomes "123 Main St N, Springfield, IL".
- Email: trimmed and lower-cased; values without a valid shape are left alone and counted.
- The column is rewritten in place — copy it first (e.g. with Calculated Column) to keep the original.
