Column
Select Columns
Keeps only the columns you tick and drops everything else.
When to use it
Use it near the end of a pipeline when a wide source has many columns and the output should contain a small, fixed set.

Example
Cut a wide sheet down to two columns
- Selected Columns=Order, Total
| Order | Region | Rep | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| SO-1 | North | Dana | 120 |
| SO-2 | South | Ravi | 340 |
| Order | Total |
|---|---|
| SO-1 | 120 |
| SO-2 | 340 |
Columns come out in the order you selected them, not in the order of the source.
Worth knowing
- Because the list also sets the order, it doubles as a quick way to reorder a handful of columns.
- A name in the list that does not exist in the data is ignored rather than produced as an empty column.
- Leaving the list empty passes every column through unchanged.
