Logic
Loop
Runs a branch of the pipeline once for every incoming row.
When to use it
Use it when each row describes a unit of work rather than data, such as a list of files to open or a set of reports to write one by one.

Settings
| Setting | Type | Required | Default or hint |
|---|---|---|---|
| On Error | select | Yes | continue |
Example
Process each file in a folder
- On Error=Continue
| File |
|---|
| jan.csv |
| feb.csv |
| Iteration | File | Status | Output: Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | jan.csv | 3 rows | 1200 |
| 2 | feb.csv | 3 rows | 900 |
Each input row becomes one iteration; the Loop's own preview is a summary with a status and the first row of that iteration's output.
Worth knowing
- Connect the first body node to the Start pin and the last body node back to the End pin; everything on that path runs once per item.
- The Output pin carries every iteration's End rows appended together, which is what downstream nodes receive.
- On Error set to Continue records a failing iteration and carries on; Stop Pipeline halts the run at the first failure.
- Shrink the input before the loop, since one row means one full pass of the body and the item count is capped.
