Logic
Conditional Split
Splits rows in two on conditions: rows that meet them leave on the True pin, the rest on the False pin. Both streams carry on in the flow.
When to use it
Use it to branch a flow — active customers one way, everyone else another. It is Filter Rows' logic offered as a branch; reach for Filter Rows when you only want to keep the matches.

Settings
| Setting | Type | Required | Default or hint |
|---|---|---|---|
| Match Logic | select | — | AND |
| Conditions (JSON) | textarea | Yes | [{"column":"Status","operator":"eq","value":"Active"}] |
| Custom Grouping | text | — | e.g. (1 OR 2) AND 3 — leave empty to use the AND / OR links |
Example
Active customers on True
- Conditions (JSON)=[{"column":"Status","operator":"eq","value":"Active"}]
| Customer | Status |
|---|---|
| Harbour Foods | Active |
| Cole & Sons | Churned |
| Northwind | — |
| Customer | Status |
|---|---|
| Harbour Foods | Active |
For Active / Churned / Unknown, connect the False pin to a second Conditional Split that tests Status = Churned: its False pin then carries the unknowns.
Worth knowing
- Conditions use the Filter Rows language — operators eq, neq, contains, gt, lt, empty, notempty and the rest — with AND / OR links per condition.
- Custom Grouping takes an expression over the condition numbers, e.g. (1 OR 2) AND NOT 3.
- An edge drawn without a pin takes True.
