File Append
Adds the incoming rows to the end of a file — CSV, tab-separated text or JSON Lines — creating it, with a header line, the first time.
When to use it
Use it for a rolling log: each scheduled run adds today's rows to the same file instead of writing a new one.

Worth knowing
- When the file exists, rows are lined up under its header: a column the file does not have is left out (the node says which), a missing one is blank.
- JSON Lines writes one JSON object per line, which tools like BigQuery and jq read directly.
- On your computer or in Google Drive the file is fetched, extended and written back; Drive keeps it as a new copy.
- Nothing is written until you tick “Yes, really write to the file system”. A preview says what would be appended.
