Input
Excel Input
Reads one sheet of an Excel workbook (.xlsx or .xls) — or just a cell range of it — from your computer, My files on FlowDoo or Google Drive, and turns it into rows.
When to use it
Use it instead of File Input when the workbook has several sheets and you need a particular one, or when the table sits in part of a sheet (B3:F40) below titles and notes.

Worth knowing
- The Sheet list fills with the workbook's real sheet names once a file is chosen; left empty, the first sheet is read.
- A sheet name that is not in the workbook stops the run and lists the sheets it does have — useful when a monthly file renames its tabs.
- The path takes $Variables and a * for the newest matching file, exactly like File Input; pointed at a folder, it reads the same sheet of every workbook in it and merges the rows.
- Dates in the workbook arrive as real dates, ready for the date nodes.
