Date Sequence

Makes a series of dates from a start date, one interval at a time, up to an end date or a count you set.

When to use it

Use it to build a calendar to report against — every day of a month, every Monday of a quarter, the first of each month for a year — or to stamp incoming rows with consecutive dates.

Nothing connected: the node makes the table

The weekend of the 7th and 8th is skipped, and the 9th still arrives because To Date is inclusive.

Worth knowing

  • With nothing connected the node makes the table itself, one row per date, as many as How Many To Generate when there is no To Date. With rows coming in it fills a column instead, one date per row.
  • From Date and To Date take YYYY-MM-DD, or a date written the way the Date Format node reads it (31/03/2026), or the word today.
  • Months and years clamp: 31 January plus one month is 28 February, not the 3rd of March.
  • Hours and Minutes make a time series; pick the YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm format to see the time.
  • A series that would run past the row limit stops there and says so, so an every-minute series across years cannot run away.
