Audio Analysis
Mono / Stereo Downmixer
Mixes multi-channel audio down to one channel (the average, or just the left or right) — or to stereo, folding 5.1 down with the standard weights.
When to use it
Most audio models want mono. Downmixing first halves (or more) the work every later node does.

Worth knowing
- When each speaker is on their own side (many call recorders do this), take Left or Right only and run each through its own branch.
- A mono clip mixed to stereo is the same signal on both sides.
