Run Program
Runs a program an administrator approved — a legacy scoring tool, a vendor's converter — on your own computer through the FlowDoo desktop agent, with the rows as CSV on its input, and reads back what it prints.
When to use it
Use it when a step already exists as a program on a computer and rewriting it is not an option.

Example
Score with the legacy tool
- Arguments=--mode fast
- Read its output as=CSV table
- Time limit (seconds)=60
The program reads the rows as CSV from its standard input and prints a CSV table, which becomes this node's rows.
Worth knowing
- Only programs on the administrator's list (Admin ▸ Settings ▸ Approved programs) can run, by their full path and never through a shell. Nothing ever runs on the FlowDoo server.
- The computer needs the FlowDoo desktop agent 1.3.0 or later, running and connected. With one computer connected, Computer can stay empty.
- A non-zero exit code fails the step with the last lines the program wrote to its error output.
- Previews never start the program: they say what a run would do.
